I have recently came across some older Paul Franklin courses on Backing up a singer, B+C pedal licks, Ballad steel, and Hot Licks for E9th steel.
I really love the way Paul goes about explaining the licks and how they relate to the chord progressions that they are to be played over.
I am wondering if Paul Franklin released any courses focusing on Pedal steel intros?
If anybody knows , please let me know. Thanks

I've never seen any intro instruction from Paul. Steve Palousek had one if you Like Steve's playing.

He had some great C6 courses back in the late 1970's or early 1980's. One of them in particular was a beginner course that showed the basic grips and what the pedals did. He would call the pedals by the names of the chords they made, like the #9 pedal ( pedal 8 ) etc. He then takes a classic C&W tune, I think it was "Help Me Make It Through The Night" and walked you through an application of what he had just explained. I learned a lot from it and thought it was a great beginner explanation of the tuning. I've misplaced mine and I would buy it again if it became available again. DG, thanks for posting the link of what he now has available, there were some interesting topics in the list. Paul is a great teacher.

A bunch of Paul's earlier courses are out of print, which I think would find a ready market today. It would be pretty easy to make them into saleable downloads, if he wanted to go that route.(Somebody else has already illegally taken that obnoxious step, but that's been hashed out in another thread.)
