Low profile Volume pedal made me better

Post by Matt Greene »

Short of spending a week with Jeff Newman, switching to a low profile volume pedal has made the single most improvement in my playing. It's difficult for me to explain except to say I'm not cheating on my picking and my control is 10 times better. I love it when I get better... It's like leap year, happens about every four years!

I've never used anything but a low vol pedal...but I sure know what you mean when you say you feel good when you learn something new. I've never had a teacher and have had to learn it from tab and trying to get that sound I hear in my head until I find it.

Matt:

The low profile (I use an LD120) pedal really helped me as well. It gave me more clearance between the top of my leg and the guitar rear apron for using the right leg knee levers. It also lets me access my stomp boxes more quickly.
