The gee eff and I are taking a weekend trip to Nashville this Friday through Sunday (5/29 - 5/31) and I'd like to hear some good steel playing. Are any of your bands playing around the Tootsie's and Legends area? If so, please post the day and time slot and we'll come by!

Even though it's only 10-15 minutes away from broadway(out by the mall and the opry house) I'll be playing with Mike Oldham at the Nashville Palace 6-10pm on Saturday. It's a fun group and there's a lot of fiddle and steel soloing in the set. Usually the band is Rick Vanaugh on drums(Time Jumpers, Lorrie Morgan, Jack Green) Becky Hinson on bass(Porter Wagoner) Ernie Reed on fiddle(Mel Tillis, Ray Price, Faron Young) and Mark Moree(Georgette Jones) on guitar. If you get a chance, come on out and hang.
