Good question.....I would prefer not to have to pay a VAT tax for Euro block countries, if I can help it...But then again....if the person I pick happens to be overseas, then so be it. The honorable thing to do would be to honor my post whatever the cost to me personally...:-)..Please submit your candidates info to the email address provided....And thanks for writing...:-)

Addendum: Please forgive me for not posting this in the original ad....In order to make sure that the package goes to a viable recipient, i will not consider anyone recommending themselves, or any other candidate that i believe has been submitted in an attempt to mislead me in any way...In the true spirit of giving, I want this rig to mean as much as the one I gave to Don Christy...He was absolutely the RIGHT guy.......Im sure you all understand my reasons...:-)

The first time I did this.... Another forum member that we all know, chipped in a N 112 to complete the package. This gesture renewed my faith in the goodness that abounds here on the forum.... I've now received an offer to cover the VAT should I decide to award this rig to one of our Euro steelers...!!!!
Kudos!!!!!... Just so everyone knows...another forum member which shall remain anonymous, is donating the guitar, which I will overhaul. At the moment, I'm quite busy, and the guitar will not arrive for a few weeks. So, there is not a huge rush..I appreciate ALL of you chiming in, pitching in, or just sharing in the experience...thank you all, my friends....my FRIENDS..:-)

Steel Rig

Post by Bob Poole »

REALLY nice thing you're doing.A year ago,i was needing cataract surgery & in the process of getting ready to sell off my rig which, with a lot of reluctance,i did....I got the needed surgery, vision restored & worked hard to turn things around & now have what i think may be the BEST steel rig i've ever had,so,i know what it's like to be without something you love so much.I can also remember,a little over 40 years ago,how badly i wanted to start playing pedal steel but could'nt quite afford it....so yessir, this is going to be a real blessing to someone. Thanks & God bless you for giving someone a wonderful opportunity !!! Yep...mighty nice.

I've been reading the forum for about 2 years now getting ready to buy my first PSG and joined earlier this week. From what I've read, and this confirms it, PSG players are some of the kindest, most helpful people out there!!!

Steelers The Real people

Post by Daryl Thisdelle »

I am a newbie to the pedal steel guitar. I got now just two years under my belt and love every time I get on it, maybe some times not so in love with it when I get off but would not want it any other way. I have been a musician all my life and was taken back when I got into the pedal steel on no matter who they were every one respected each other and was there for there brother steel player. Not so in many other venues of players. I went to the Dallas show two years ago and was just blown away on how nice this crowd of pedal steel guitar players and makers of the pedal steel and all the accessories that go with it. All my gear is custom ordered and every one who made my equipment I met at Dallas and every one who made my accessories. So it does not surprise me what Mickey Adams is involved in and inspiring others to join in. It speaks volumes about this crowed and am proud to be one of you's. I take off my hat to you Mickey, fine upstanding gentlmen you are..
