I may be wrong but seems I saw a post somewhere on cleaning the controls on a MB200 or 500, that is without removing them which would be quite a process, tech man at GK says no, anyone know anything on this subject?

Ray, there is a tubing you place over the shaft and spray into the tubing. I think stew-mac sells it. I can't say that it works or that I subscribe to that method since I never tried it. Best method is to take it apart. There may be a you tube video on this.
