Strymon Deco

I'm thinking about replacing my DD3 with a Deco. I just use the Williams, Lil Izzy, the DD3 and Milkman Mini in that order, no other effects. The only thing I use the DD3 for is a small amount of delay to fatten the sound a bit. I'm thinking the Deco could do a similar thing on the Doubletracker side and then I'd have the Saturation side to use when needed for a little distortion edge for rock a lap style. Any thoughts on this?

the deco is the best pedal for me. I use it for guitar and steel. It does it all man - you will love it!
Running it in stereo is especially awesome too

i've had my deco for a while and IF i was forced to choose just one pedal, i would choose it. the doubletracker side gives you flange, delay and echo while the saturation side works like you are going thru the preamp section of a tape recorder and taking it close to, or far into, the red level.
a friend came over and recorded his newly acquired gibson br6 lap steel thru it and said it was amazing.
play music!

Another Deco lover here.
If I had to choose one pedal and throw all the others away (and I have "a few") I'd keep the Strymon. Between the subtle overdrive and delay it's all I'd ever need...
It really is as good as it sounds in the demo videos.

It's a totally different pedal, not intended as a delay but (to quote Strymon) a "Tape Saturation and Double Tracker" effect. Too cool. Check out the demos on the Strymon site.
I don't have one... yet. Hope to soon remedy that.
