Background...my right wrist hurts bad and very difficult to play on the bottom neck (C6), no rest for my arm. When I play the E9 neck I get to rest my arm on the C6 neck. TO provide a temporary fix, I took a piece of 2x4 and cut it down and made a arm rest for the C6 neck. The idea came from an old Eharp lap steel I use to have that had a built in arm rest on it. It is removable and looks like heck, but it works. Was wondering if any of the Steel Manufacturing people have ever though of making something like this for an add on accessory? I have addapted it to my Sierra Crown D10. If I knew how to attach a picture I could do a sketch of how it is mounted and it does not create any new holes in the PSG!. Thanks for any feedback.

Roy,
Cougar guitars offered such an item... It was called "Add a rest" or something like that. Unfortuneately Freeman Cowgar the manufacturer died and the company (Cougar Guitars) is out of business. It is my understanding though that Ed Naylor bought all the parts, so you might be able to get one from him.
These rests just clamped on the guitar and were removable.
