Bought a Lashley Legrande and the bottom front trim was coming loose from a previous bad glue job.
I carefully removed it, cleaned the old glue away and reglued it.
It came out great!
Now I've got to redo to top front trim.
I'm confident of another quality job.

that looks really good!
what type of glue did you use? i've got one that needs that, too.
did you clamp it or tape it until the glue dried?

I used DAP Weldwood contact cement.
After applying it to both steel and trim I let them breathe for a few minutes.
Then I just pressed them together with my fingers and rubbed up and down the trim with a microfibre cloth a few times and it was good to go.
I'm sure clamping wouldn't hurt but the contact cement dries so fast it didn't seem necessary.
