If you haven't yet, go check out Mark Van Allens "playing by the numbers" vol. 1 and 2. I've looked at a lot of instructional material and the way he explains the information is just so useful and easy to understand. Truly great material. I think you can buy it from his website.

Wow, Scott, what a nice comment! I've really tried to produce material that is clear and would have been helpful when I was trying to figure things out. So it's always great to hear that it's useful. Mucho thankola!

A lot of people try and explain theory. Not many people do it in a way that is understandable for the average joe. You do. You're cds are so straightforward and easy to follow. Anybody that is beginner to intermediate and even some advanced players should have this material. I hope you come out with other material. I have some ideas if you ever need any feedback. Thanks again.

I just ordered the music theory course for E9. I have been playing and teaching guitar for 40 years and still struggle with understanding theory. I just have never been able to grasp it. If you can teach me you have accomplished something that has eluded music instructors for decades :)

Mark can teach theory for sure he is an awesome

teacher and explans every thing in great detail

and he is a great steel player and a heck of a nice man!! :D

I've had this course for a couple years, and continue to listen through it while on a long drive...always seem to pick up something new.
