Looking for something reasonable to program some tracks to, or one with a sequencer, etc. Can't really tell which one is which when looking on Amazon.

Hi Michael:

There are a ton of great keyboards out there. I happen to have a Korg M50. I use it for (live) playing of piano, organ, banjo, and bagpipe parts in my band when I'm not playing 6-string or pedal steel!

It doesn't have the *best* sounding piano samples, but good enough, and it has a fairly sophisticated but easy-to-use sequencer and more than enough sounds to make you sound like a big band. I don't use sequenced parts with my current band, but I did use it in a previous rock band context for sequenced Deep Purple organ and percussion parts where it worked fine.

They aren't too expensive (don't know the current price, but somewhere around the $1k mark, depending on the number of keys and whether you want semi-weighted or fully-weighted keybed).

There are lots of similar choices from Yamaha, Roland, and others.

Cheers,
Mike
