This song is about a woman going to a bar to pick up her husband. This is real classic country country music. I got the idea for the song while playing in clubs and bars in Texas. You see all of the guys at the bar drinking and I wonder what the wife is doing. Take a listen to the song and support real country music. I wrote the song and played all the instruments which is why my neighbors probably hate me. Thanks for your support.
Thanks,
Jackie

My husband bought me a 27 inch Mac for Chistmas and Logic Pro X. I added a fire wire mixer and now I can get lost for hours in the studio! More fun than a van load of banjo pickers!

Jaclyn,

Very impressive. There is something so satisfying about being able to say that you " did it all yourself" that just doesn't compare to anything else. Keep up the good work! Don't you just love that Mac?

I used to swear I would never switch to Mac. Boy was I wrong! I do love my Mac and added a Macbook Pro as well. Thebest thing about being a little older is better toys!

Fantastic, Jaclyn. Real honky-tonk music and that's a pretty original slant to a theme that never gets old in my book.

I've never had experience with Logic Pro X. Sounds pretty good and I like the flexibility it seems to offer. I'm still running 4 track tape into audacity.

Thanks Daniel! Logic Pro was a handfull at first but I realy like being able to record several takes and mix and match the sections. There is still alot more about the program that I don't know than I do. With all of those tracks available to play with,my ADD is in overdrive!

Auhentic country, including the sentiment, and it has that necessary ingredient--it's hanging around my mind.
I like your voice, authentic wife, just wanting a little romance between steels.

Who cares about the neighbors?! Let them get their own guitars.

Actually the neighbors have never complain. However I think one day when I slid up around fret 17 I might've neutered their cat.

Jaclyn that was really good...quality of recording and instrumentaion was really nice...I envy your ability...I’ve just started the recording thing, and put few songs on here, but using Garageband and you are correct, you can get lost in there for hours trying to put it all together...Again nice job and keep it up!!

Hey Dale,
Logic Pro is in a whole lot different then garage band. It has a lot more editing capability but the features and garage band were great as well. There are great videos on YouTube for learning how to use both programs.

If you haven't listened to the song on my reverbnation site please do. There's a lot of real country music out there on that site. Check out some of the other artist that are using steel guitars in their songs. If artists don't record real country music with new song ideas then all were ever going to hear his bro country.
