I'm having a snow day in the blizzard today and was listening to the Grateful Dead from the Mars Hotel. Here's what I came up with for John McFee's steel intro to Pride of Cucamonga (no, it's not Jerry Garcia)
Comments and corrections are always welcome. Enjoy...

thanks jeff. you're a wonderful asset to the community for tabbing this stuff out.
yeah..mcfee kinda played steel like a steel guitar.
jerry influenced me too, though, in the tonal texturing aspect ....especially in 'the wheel'.

I took a week with Jeff in Nashville about 25 years ago, Jim..... RIP Mr. Newman. He'd be pleased to know I FINALLY opened my notebook and got around to turning in my homework! Smile

Do you have a scanner with your computer, Bob? Like Chris said, I scanned the handwritten sheet into my computer as a jpeg picture file and then clicked the "upload picture" box on the Forum "post a reply" page. That's about the extent of my computer knowledge Smile
