Getting used to my new d10, and the low c on the c6 neck. When I'm tuning it, and tuning the pedal, the pedal tuning nut ( I'm sure there is a more technical name for it, but I don't know it) feels like it's almost all the way unscrewed to tune the pedal 8 low a. I feel like I might be on the very last thread of the screw....

Any tips or tricks?

And the guitar is a Fessenden d10 if that helps.

Happy to post pictures or videos if that helps...

It's called "nylon nut" or "tuning nut."
As long as it doesn't pop off, don't worry about it.
You might end up having to reduce the amount of pedal travel or changing which hole the rod uses in the bellcrank, but I doubt it.
