This is my feeble attempt at playing to Juniors track of Sweet Beulah Land, from his CD, The Cross Says it All...If you like Gospel Steel, Juniors CD is one of the best...contact him and buy one, you won’t regret it.

Thanks for all the nice comments...This really is a nice old classic...
Joseph the track was from Junior Knights, The Cross Says It All, CD...I believe he played guitar and bass, and maybe some other instruments as well.

Thanks Mike and Todd for the compliments...Todd I agree that Junior’s got it going on, I wish I were worthy to just string his guitar...I love his playing, and overall musicianship...the tracks from his The Cross Says It All, CD, had him playing not only the steel but guitar/bass/mandolin/dobro...aaaaand, I think he produced or sound engineered the CD as well...what a talent.

Dale,
You are very welcome. I don't know about being a part of any group... no one told me LOL! I love the pretty stuff and that is about all I try to play. You can't go wrong with a classic Gospel song like Beulah Land. I enjoyed your version, keep picking my friend it's really nice to meet you.
Best wishes,
Jerry

...Jerry, I’m with you on that, I don’t have the speed, or am as clean as I want to play the fast stuff...Most of that “pretty stuff†you play, I haven’t found yet...the search continues
Thanks Skip...I forget who I first heard play this, but think it was probably John Hughey or Ron Elliot, and fell in love with the song then...When I heard Junior do it, I fell in love with it all over again, and then he sent me the tracks he used and I knew I wanted to try and play to it...Glad you enjoyed it.

Thanks C. E., one of mine too...I hadn’t played this in years, but used to all the time when I was a kid and we were doing Gospel music all the time... we were the Gospel Road Singers, had a cool logo and everything... just kids having a lot of fun making music and being kids.
