Hello,
I have to replace a few springs on the changer of my Zum Steel...
Does anyone know where I can buy some? _________________ Gianni

Hi Gianni, have you tried contacting Bruce Zumsteg, the builder? He doesn't build pedal steels anymore, but that might be worth a shot.

Boy, I am really behind the times. I didn't know Bruce stopped making steels. Seems like just a bit ago I was talking to him on the phone ordering parts for my steels and getting advice. Heck of a guy. |

Give Bruce a call. He was still selling parts and answers phone calls. |

Yes Bruce has them. Maybe Lynn Stafford has them or could tell you what size you need to order from a hardware supplier in your country.
Since your in Italy. Often you can remove and cut-shorten weak or stretched springs just a tad. Re-install them. And they'll work just fine. |
