Trade Lamar D-10 for GFI SD-10
I have a beautiful Lamar that I have been playing for the last three years after a seven year break. I played an SD Zum before my "Burnout" so I do know what plays and sounds good - to me anyway. I foolishly traded it for a nice Carter but after a couple of months I was able to get it back. I really missed it. I Do Not need the C6 neck and have lately been thinking of turning it into an SD-10 but it is such a nice guitar like it is that I thought I would see if anybody had any interest in a swap. I would like an GFI SD10 Ultra. I have a lot of pix if anybody is interested. It has TW pickups and is set up Emmons with Es on the left. It is 8 & 5 with an extra knee lever and rods.

I owned that Lamar for several years. I played it on stage with Garth Hudson, G.E. Smith, Jorma Kaukonen, and a bunch of other folks. Really nice guitar that I probably should have kept..... I only let it go because I never got much work playing C6. Now I'm playing Universal, and looking for a Lamar U-12.

I also owned this guitar and it plays good and sounds good. I played it one night with David Ball here in Texarkana and also played it with Hank Thompson when he was at our Opry Show. I remember him making comment about how short it was but said it sounded good. If you like keyless, this is a really top notch guitar, even if you don't like keyless, , still a great guitar.

Lamar
I have a deal pending. - Thank you Henry, I didn't know my guitar had played for Hank Thompson. Thanks for leaving some of your licks on it for me as it sure played real smooth and sounded so good. It served me well for the last three years.
