Here's a 16 bar tone-a-rific rock and roll solo over and old obscure alt. country song from the late 90's by Peter Bruntnell. Enjoy!
Here is a quick performance:

Yes! Thanks a lot Jeff, this one is really nice. Your tone on the video is very Heywood-esque. _________________ My site |

Thanks Paul,
I found this super old orange Amp, with EL34's, it gets some pretty dirty tones, with enough bass end to make the steel sound throaty... It's called an OR135, and it's the last amp they made before they went out of business in the 80's... Really weird amp..
Before that I'd been running an RC Booster out of various amps, good tone too, but not quite the same...
Glad you enjoyed it! What have you been listening to steel-wise lately? |

Cool sound. I'm listening to the Ernest Tubb live album and Bruce Kaphan's solo stuff mainly. I just bought the Normal for Bridgwater album so thanks for introducing me to that! _________________ My site |
