Sad day indeed.
Clark was a pioneer and a truly great individual. He lived in Pine Bluff Arkansas for some years and I have some charts of a few tunes he'd notated by his own hand. I'll always cherish them.
The old guys are dying off and no one filling their shoes. Thank God they left their music behind for us to enjoy.
Rest in peace Clark. Show Gabriel how it's done.
