FS/FT BMI 12 String Keyless SOLD please close
I have a very nice BMI 12 String with Zane Beck's Copedent. 4 Floors/ 5 Knees. Metal neck, two pickups with 5 way selector switch on each pickup. You can get lots of different sounds. Has wood front. Plays and sounds great. The case is in fair shape, does the job. $1650 plus shipping. I will let UPS pack and ship. I'm located in Pigeon Forge, TN. Reason for selling I have 3 BMIs and need to part with one.

BMI makes a different push-pull than Emmons.

As some of you know , I have had quite a few different pedal steels in the past .....I recently bought a U-12 P/P BMI and it's a keeper for sure ....Really nice tone all the way up the neck and easy to play and adjust ....I like the fact that the raises are on one end of the steel , and the lowers are on the other end ....Very compact unit also .....Jim

Hey James,,,is that BMI the green one that I used to have (12-14 years ago)? If so that was a great guitar,,,sold it at Dallas show to a kid for $850,,,with his promise that if he ever didn't want it to let me know so I could buy it back,,,,3 months later found out he sold it to guy in California. Last I heard O'Brien in Florida had it,,,for sale,,,more than I could pay for it,,,,anyway,,,great guitar,,,didn't mean to hi jack this thread,,,,good for a "bump" anyway

David I really don't know the weight but the dimensions are 9 13/16 X 28 1/2 X 3 1/4.
There is a keyless on their website and they have the weight as 29lbs, this one probable weighs a little more but just guessing. And yes it is a very nice guitar.
Blessings

Dustin they are not as easy as a keyded guitar but I have done it. The only problem in changing these is the lowers, but it's not that bad. I have two extra floor pedals with pedal rods and cross bars if you're interested, and they are still available from BMI.

Hi Sonny,
Sorry for the late reply .....YUP !!.....It is the green one !!......$850 ? ....... I would have bought a couple of them from you at $850 a pop !!...... I'm happy with it , even at the price I paid ....It's a great sounding and playing steel ..... This is the first George L pickup that I have enjoyed having on any of my steel guitars ....I'm more of a single coil guy ....Hope all is well with you !!..... Jim

These are great for fast playing u can set pedal pulls with very short travel an they will still be very easy , stops for pedals built into design very solid. Zane Beck nailed this design. Zane King still has The green keyless that Zane Beck Played for years an sold to Zane King when he was a student of Zane Becks still plays as good as the day he got it 30 years ago.
