I came across some YouTube videos of Chris Scruggs. He is a very talented non pedal steel player! Is he a Forum member?

I am also a fan of Chris Scruggs, gained mainly through his YouTube exposure. When I was in Nashville last October, I met several people who play regularly with Chris (including both of those gentlemen in the video link) but the man himself eluded me!

Do a search on this forum and you'll find questions on his tunings. You'll also find that he's a great admirer of Kayton Roberts. Both Chris and Kayton are interviewed as part of the Mel Bay series:

An offshoot of me asking after Chris' whereabouts was to meet and see Carolyn Martin and Rory Hoffman play. Alas neither Chris nor any steel player were on stage but it was a great gig and now I have two more great musicians to follow!
