Does anyone have or know of a tab for take me out to the ball game?
I was thinking of sending a recording in to enter the contest to have it featured during Game 4 of the World Series.
Thanks

I don't have a tab, but Doc and Merle Watson do an interesting version that I believe is available on the web. Used to be played (and probably still is) at Durham Bulls games. Starts in 3/4 then to 4/4. You could probably get a good start from it if you're inclined. I came up with a decent version of it for dobro and banjo based on their version. don't see why it wouldn't work on pedal also. |

I actually figured this one out on my own, my version is in C. I don't really tab, but I recommend working this one out on your own. You can hear it in the harmony scales as well. One word to look out for, I think the key changes at the 'buy me some peanuts and cracker jack'. I can't explain it in music theory, but the notes are out of the c scale'.
Baseball is hands down my favorite sport, can not wait for opening day! |
