Painting mica

Post by Wayne Baker »

I'd like to get my Emmons Legrande painted metalic charcoal gray. Any thoughts on this?

Thanks,
Wayne Baker

Wayne,
Go to a local paint/body shop,or maybe a cabnet shop and talk to someone that doe's acrilic(sp) paintwork. It could probably be done with some of the new primers on the market today.

The problem is they would want everything off of the guitar and at that stage, new formica would be as economicle, and more satisfactory

You may want to get some stickon vinyl if you can find the color you want,I did that with woodgrain on an MSA I had, looked pretty good, also a lot cheaper if you decide that's not what you want......
