I am looking to find some private instruction in the Dallas TX area. Does anyone know of any reputable steel teachers, how I can get in touch with them and what the going rates are??

You'll probably get some great ideas on this thread.
In addition, you might check out our Teacher's Page and another idea might be to check out the players listed here in the DFW area (some of them may also teach or know of some who do): www.OnLineSteelers.com.

Reece Anderson lives in the Southlake area, between Dallas and Ft. Worth.
He has been my instructor for 18 months. Nonpedal, dobro, pedal steel.
Great player, and great teacher.
