Can anyone tell me why this knee lever is mounted on an angle rather than straight? All of the underside PIC's I've seen of Shobuds, have this knee lever mounted the same way, (on an angle). Will there be any problems in remounting it so that it is straight like the others?

It's mounted like that because your leg branches away from your body at an angle and if the lever angle matches your leg angle, you will contact it squarely. That's the theory anyway and it makes a certain amount of sense. I had an old D-10 Sho-Bud "Professional" with a lever like that and I liked it just fine and I even added a second LKL inside lever at the same angle. My guess is that others don't do it because it's more complicated mechanically that mounting them in the same plane - especially on a guitar with a lot of knee levers. I wouldn't alter it unless it's affecting your playing - and I can't imagine that it would. -MJ-
