pedal steel and Weissenborn film score

A little shameless self-promotion here: for the past couple of years I've been writing and producing the score to filmmaker Judy Irving's (The Wild Parrots of Telegraph Hill) next film, Pelican Dreams. This all original score features my pedal steel and Weissenborn playing. If you'd like to hear steel guitar used in film music, please check it out at my website:
http://brucekaphan.com/pages/PelicanDreams.html , or better yet, go see the movie! Theatrical screenings start tomorrow with premieres in San Francisco, Berkeley, and San Rafael. Please see Judy's blog at
http://pelicanmedia.wordpress.com/ for future screenings scheduled in a variety of states across the USA.

Sounds lovely Bruce, both in the music and the production. Loved Slider and am a big fan/proponent of the textural possibilities of steel guitar. I should mention that you have an added comma at the end of your link that takes you to an error page as opposed to the page I believe you intended to direct people to.
All the best,
Julian
thanks Julian!

Sounds fantastic, Bruce!
Just ordered the soundtrack from your website and can't wait to see the film when it comes to Portland - November 28th at Cinema 21.
Congratulations and hope to see you up this way again soon,
Matt
