They vary, but they generally belong to the family which we over here call UNC. Possible sizes are 1/2"x13, 5/8"x11 and 3/4"x10. _________________ Make sleeping dogs tell the truth!

Most are 1/2 X13 _________________ 2 pedal steels, a lapStrat, and an 8-string Dobro (and 3 ukes)
More amps than guitars, and not many effects |

Thanks Ian, They are 1/2" but definitely not UNC, the thread is much finer so I can only assume these have been made in the UK and the thread must be 1/2" BSF. (British Standard Fine.) Thank you for your help, All the best . Dave. |

Get a 'thread pitch gauge' Dave to be on the safe side, any hardware shop will have one for a few pennies. _________________ A.K.A Chappy. |
