Mike, a mouse ate the speaker in my Valve King 112 amp. I am thinking about replacing it with a speaker that is more suitable for steel, such as a Telonics. They make it in an 8 ohm version but not a 16 ohm. Will the 8 ohm vs. 16 ohm mis-match be any problem? Will the mis-match affect volume or tone or damage the amp?

Thanks,

George

Thank you Mike. Now, could you loan me the money to get the Telonics? Seriously, I appreciate your honesty. A dis-honest person would have told me that they only recommend Peavey speakers in an effort to sell a Peavey speaker. IMHO, Peavey is lucky to have you.
