Limited pedal U-12

Fed-Ex left an old Rus-ler S-12 at my door the other day. It is the standard 3+4 setup. Knowing that it would be limited, I still want to experiment with a U-12 tuning. I play some country but mostly rock (older stuff) and pop (again older stuff.) Any suggestions for pedal setups would be appreciated.
BTW, I do plan to add more pedals as I go.

With only 3 and 4 I would suggest the following:

F#
D#
G#
E
B
G#
F#
E
D
B
G#
E

Pedal 1 raises 5 and 9 a whole tone.

Pedal 2 raises 3, 6 and 11 a half a tone.

Pedal 3 raises 4, 5 and 8 a whole tone.

LKL raises 4, 8 and 12 a half a tone.

LKR lowers 4, and 8 a half a tone.

RKL raises 1 a whole tone, raises 2 a half a tone, lowers 6 and 11 a whole tone.

RKR lowers 2 a whole tone with half stop and lowers 9 a half a tone.

If you can possibly put a LKV on it, lower 5 and 10 a half a tone with it.

Then play it to your hearts content. And May Jesus bring you joy always,

You'll have to give up a bit of the E9th if you really want the C6th changes. Consider this: <font face="monospace" size="3"><pre> LKL P1 P2 P3 LKR RKL RKR

B +C#</pre></font>LKR throws it into a B6th tuning, like the standard C6th. P3 is like the standard P5 on C6th, and RKL (with LKR released) is the P6 change. RKR is like the standard C to B lever on C6th, and is also a popular change on E9th.

The main thing lost from the E9th is the standard 3rd pedal. With only 3+4, you can't really get all of the E9th and C6th changes like you can on a true U-12.

I think put those E raises and lowers on the right knee and the rest would go like this:

Take a look at Bud Carter's copedent,,,,he plays a lot of C6 and seems to get all the E9 sounds too!!!

What is the current setup?
I'm guessing it is a standard 3x4 E9th.
You can play a ton of B6th "without changing a thing"!

b0b,
add another knee lever that raises only the 4th string E to F# to that setup and you´ll have a replacement for the C pedal and it opens doors to a ton of other things as well, albeit in the E9 context.

Don McClellan lives on Maui and has a couple of U12's.
