The Alhambra is a Palace in Granada, Spain and a popular tourist attraction. It's origin goes back to the seventh century.
A classical Guitarist, Francisco Tarrega (17th. Century) composed a famous tremolo study for Guitar which is still very much a test for aspiring performers.
I could never get it all the way on my Classical guitar but I did master the 3/4 rhythm pattern and the chords. Having done so I dropped the tremolo and made a seperate track for the 6 string Leavitt tuned Lap Steel Guitar. I think it captures the intended emotion for this beautiful piece.
Leavitt tuning high to low: D--C--Bb--G--E--C#
