Beveled Fretboard Revisited

My fretless steel guitar has been a source of unmatched benefit, and when combined with a beveled fretboard, surpasses the standard horizontal board without question. I've learned that there are many who resist making changes, and who trust that nothing could be improved upon, that is centuries old. The visual obstruction associated with bar and hand, prompted me to dwell on a solution. I'm curious to know if mine is actually the first of its kind. It would take up to one year to hear from a patent office.
