I am very excited about getting the 1953 Gibson Grande Console that I recently purchased. It should be a good companion to my others (I hope they dont talk about me pickin' on them when I am not around !
ANYway, just wanted to share my excitement.

It looks beautiful. What's it's story? How did you come to get it? What needs tweaking? |

Roy, thanks for the comment, I am looking forward to getting your Hank WIlliams course and using that steel to play the tunes.
Paul, no big issues with the steel, I just have a good friend in Tuscon who loves older non-pedal steels and is really good at going thru them and making sure everything is working properly.
Joe, thanks for the comment, I am really lucky to own it,,,i sure dont deserve it in any sense ! _________________ Zum Encore, Remington D8 non pedal, Hallmark Mosrite clone, Gretsch 6120 DSW, Gretsch G5210T-P90 Electromatic Jet Two 90,1976 Ibanez L5, Eastman archtop, Taylor Dreadnaught, Telonics pedal, Squire Tele, Squire Strat, Fender Tonemaster, Gold Tone 5 string banjo, Little Wonder tenor banjo, 3 Roland cubes 30s and 80, Carvin combo bass amp |
