We will meet at Life Church which is located at 26189 Westheimer Parkway in Katy.

Featured Player:
Herb Remington

Come on out to hear steel guitar legend Herb Remington. Herb Remington played with Bob Wills and the Texas Playboys and other groups before
settling down in the Houston area. He wrote and recorded Boot Hill Drag and recorded Remington's Ride. We are really fortunate to have him play for us.

We will also have a jam time for those who bring their steel guitars.
We want more steel players to be featured. If you only have 2-3 prepared songs. we can arrange for a short featured spot just let us know.

Directions to the LIFE Church building are:
From I-10 W (Katy) :
Take the exit for Pin Oak Rd ( Katy Mills Mall - exit 740 I think? )
Take Pin Oak Rd. south.
Pin Oak Rd will turn into Westheimer Parkway
Take Westheimer down to Life Church @ 26189 Westheimer Parkway on the right

Park your car in the back parking lot and enter the youth room through the back door. You can also park in the front. Usually one of the doors on the left is unlocked.

Herb put on a clinic, explaining his A6 logic. And, he played some real classic standards. A funny story that he got a $4.00 royalty check for Boot Hill Drag.

We missed the Victoria Flash, Randy Boyd, David H., Lee, Brandon O. Where were you guys? Bobby Keith, hope you are feeling better. David Waters, we could have used you too. John, hope you'all had a good time with the grandbaby.
The trouble with listing names is the ones you forget. If I did, it was unintentional.
