I was trying to nudge an audio track down to the next track below and couldn't get it to work.
The manual says nudge up/down is performed by alt./down arrow or alt./up arrow.
I tried that...still nothing.
Nudge left and right work perfectly.
Any of you other Studio One guys use this feature?
How did you get it to work?
Thanks,

Hey Rick --
I've only ever used the nudge feature to incrementally shift an audio event forwards or backwards in the playback timeline. I've never come across a way to nudge an event from one track to the next (though clearly the manual says it can be done.) I'll take a looksee later tonight when I get home.
What I generally do to accomplish the same is drag the audio event up/down to the desired track. To make sure the start position of the track stays exactly the same, hold down the [SHIFT] key while dragging it... otherwise it may "auto-snap" to the grid or move slightly left or right during the move.
I'm on a Mac; it's possible you may need to use a different modifier key ([CTRL] or [ALT]) while dragging on PC. |

Well, I asked this very same question over at the Presonus forum and this is the answer I got from one of the tech. support people at Presonus:
"For actually nudging the event, only left and right are available".
Bummer, that's a feature that I did like in Sonar.
Oh well, I suppose I can simply drag the event into the desired track.
It would be nice to have that nudge up/down feature though.
