Quick question,
Is the string spacing on a Fender 800, the same as a Fender 400/1000. Just curious, as I really like the larger string spacing on the Fender 1000 that I just purchased.
Thanks, Mike |

I don't know what the spacing is on a 400 or 1000, but on a mid-60s 800 spacing at the changer from 1-10 is ~3-3/8", 3-10 is ~2-5/8". |

Thanks Ian, the 1000 has a spacing of 2 1/2" as measured near the pickup. So it seems they are basically the same. I appreciate the help.

To Me "String Spacing" Means From One String To The Next String. I Believe The String Spacing On All Fender PSGs Is 3/8" Of An Inch.

Yes it is 3/8"' near the changer end, I just figured I'd go with the method of measurement that Ian was using. |
