I am surely looking forward to being there this year.
This will be my 11th KSGA show, I missed the first one.

You all don't forget about the Thursday afternoon river party, just a 1/4 mile east of Baxter Springs, turn right into the park just before you cross the spring river bridge.
Everyone gathers there around 4:00 PM.
Bring your own sandwich fixens, chips and pop.
We just eat, tell lies to each other and fellowship.
We head down to the Community Center about 7:00 PM and we all pitch in on setting up the room for the show the next morning. The river party is a fun time for sure.
See you all there. God bless :D

Wait, I guess I'm not done babbling.
This show, the KSGA show is my favorite. In the since it is like coming home to a family reunion.
This show is a continued success because of simplicity. It is put together in the same fashion every year with only 2 things in mind.
Play steel guitar music and have a lot of fun doing it!
Although it will boost an average flow of 200 plus in attendance at any time, it has that warm and fuzzy feeling no matter who you talk to.
And food, (one of my favorites) all weekend long. Just a simple donation will get your belly full.
Folks, if you have attended a KSGA show you know what I'm talking about, if you haven't, well you need to come and see for yourself what everyone else is enjoying and your missing.
Lee Ogle and Ray Qualls are our host along with a bunch of hard working boys & girls making it all happen.
Make plans want you, to be there for one of the best kept secrets in the steel guitar world.
See you all there, God bless and have a safe drive in.

PS.
Dick I'm not gonna do any cooking this year. I'm going to stay out of the kitchen and let the ladies do their thing. :D

I am looking forward to this years show. As always in my opinion, it's the best one around.
Always good times and the hospitality and fellowship is tops.
Ray and Lee we hope you continue for many years to come.
In this time of hard times, it is a wonderful place for all Steelers to get away to.
I will be there for sure.

On my set, I have asked Mike McGee to play steel with me. We are formally-- "LOCKING HORNS"--- to see who is the best Honky TonK E9th player-me or Mike. I know what you are thinking--"You think I don't stand a chance against the Great Mike McGee". To level the playing field, Mike, I get to pick the songs. Both of us will be required to stick to the E9th neck. Mike, the songs will not be complex lounge lizard music that puts people to sleep. It won't be music for bed wetters and tree huggers. Mike, be ready to play some drinkin, she done me wrong shuffles. Mike, I agree that you are a great player, but never under estimate me. When I am "ON" I can be dangerous!

Hey Ray,
It'll be great to see old friends again and enjoy some outstanding steel guitar music! I'm playing on Friday night so can't be there 'til Saturday afternoon but I'm looking forward to another great show in Baxter Springs. Place me wherever you want to in the lineup. See you then.

Ray, I plan on being there and I plan on Braydon being there also. Thank you for including Carlene and me all these years. I have missed only one show due to illness. The Baxter Springs show is exactly what steel shows should be in my opinion.
Ray, would you please edit Braydon's name (spelling)?
Thanks very much,
Jerry
