I have been with William Litaker for over 200 weekly lessons. I learned so much. Each week we work on a project tune, intros and some technique exercises. If you practice those, they are worth the $5.00 a week.
If any of you are trying to learn, join us each week.

| I have been with William Litaker since 11 Jan 2011 for weekly lessons. At the start I could barley tune the E9th neck. I've learned quit a bit since that first Saturday. I have all the Video's, Tracks And TAB's saved and I go back to them when I'm trying something new. Last week I completed a 2 week production, playing the Pedal Steel Guitar in "Always-Patsy Cline" with folks I didn't Know let alone ever Play music with. They were all reading music, note for note and I was reading the signature key for each song. I say If you want to paly the steel, William can make it happen!! |

Lee ... I agree with you.. my playing has greatly improved since I have been taking lessons from William. I have been with him for over a year now and it shows...Thank you William.. I appreciate you very much with the time and patience you show your students..

Yeah, those technique and backing track exercises are what I spend a lot of time on. So much good stuff. I was trying to work the Project tunes note for note,and some licks are too good not to try, but now have been treating them more like "worksheets" rather than tab, getting me in the ballpark, doing the stuff I can stumble through (William's a pretty hot picker!) and keeping the melody going...sometimes in time. Those backing tracks are gold! |

| I've been with William for a couple of months. Even though work, etc. has kept me from practicing much, I find his stuff really great. I have kept it all in a workbook that I can use anytime. Keep it up William!! Any Neewbies like me out there, I would highly recommend joining up with William. Can't beat the price either. |

I don't know what I did to merit all the great comments.....Thanks so much. I alway thought that the Broadcast was pretty good stuff , But It really means something when others think so too. Saturday was Broadcast #202. A lot of the guys including John Bumbarger who started this thread has not missed a one......That says something in itself. Thanks again guys. William,
All of your students think you deserve the merit. The complexity of the pedal steel requires a beginner to structure practice sessions the way you set up lessons. Every day I spend a couple of hours going through back ups and fills, then work on timing that intro with the count you do in every lesson. For me that's the hardest thing to get down. But I know if I persevere someday I'll be able to start at least one of them at the right time. I know I've improved and it looks like a lot others have also. Thank you!

I agree with the other posts. I have been with William for less than a month, but have totally enjoyed the time. I have picked up many new techniques that will improve my playing. Look forward to the Saturday sessions.

I have been with William since the first broadcast and actually bought some of his instructional material before that. My playing has come a long way and of course I still have lot farther to go. William likes to teach I guess because from what he charges he sure doesn't do it for the money! Ha! I guess I'll just say this....if you cant learn something from William, take up golf! lol!
