This guitar seems like its been on ebay 3-4 times and listed on here. Anybody know the scoop on this unit? Was it damaged and repaired or something like that? Just wonderin. Thanks Bob

Maybe because it's bright red?

It's a Fessenden, so you know it's a good brand, and it's being sold by Tommy Cass, who is a straight-shooter. I've done business with him very successfully and pleasantly. I'd say it was in what condition he says it's in.

Bob, the Fessenden was bid on and won by a
Player from New York. When the auction was over he contacted me an informed me of a death in his family, said it was going to set him back financially, and would I consider cancelling the bid. I agreed and put it back on Ebay. It's really in great condition,
But I guess I never gave the "Bright Red" a
thought. Herb, I guess the color makes sense.
Anybody got paint?

I agree with Herb on Fessendens. I just received my new D-12 last week, and have nothing but good words to say about Jerry's fine workmanship and dedication to building a new guitar with that good old sound. I have yet to take it out on a gig, but it really sings even without an amp! Image

Here's my two cents....I recently bought a Sho-Bud amp from Mr.Cass and upon delivery found it to be exactly as he said it was..in great shape.Just wanted to throw this in so maybe it may convince someone to buy the SD-10.

Tommy was the 1st guy ever sat me in front of a PSG. 1966 I think.
A fine player then, the house PSG player for my dad's studio.
I have asked him to look at my Sho-Bud when it's delivered Sunday. I believe it is a very prudent decision. A no brainer really. Even if it means I wait a bit longer to get it in my hot hands.
[This message was edited by David L. Donald on 27 February 2003 at 09:27 AM.]

Tommy got me started on the steel road, too. Helped me get my first Emmons (a '70 fatback that I still own) and put 5 knee levers on it for me, hand-made by him that look great. Showed me the basics, and was always an inspiration to go see back then. I owe him a lot. Thanks again, Tommy...
