Can anyone recommend an 8 ohm 15" speaker to be used with pedal steel? I have another cab with a 12" Telonics, also an 8 ohm, that I want to pair it with.

I have been looking for a good 8ohm 15" speaker for a long time now. I'd be interested to see what you find, other than an old JBL

I put an Electrovoice EVM15L 8 ohm speaker in a Fender SuperTwin once, and it sounded great. I think that EV still make them.

Given, both the JBL & EV have already been mentioned (two of my favorites), I've found that the Eminence Delta 15A works well for me in an 8 ohm configuration. Also, it can be purchased new for just under a hundred bucks. I have one in an Evans SE500 and it seems to be just right, not too much bass, smooth, clear highs and for my taste, the mids are perfect.

I've been using a 8 ohm Deltalite 15" in my Nashville 400 for about four years and I think It's great.
