I have put four extra pedals on but am not sure because i play the JD on the AB&C pedals how set up the rest of the pedals. Is there any one that can please give me some idea`s?what tuning would be the best ie:extended E9 or E9/B6.

This is Jeff Newman's setup. It is a "Day" setup.

Jimmy,

This may not be your cup of tea, but there is an alternate "universal" setup that uses the "Day" configuration ... that of Zane Beck. Often discounted because it looks formidable, it is a great tuning which gives you just about everything and with only 4 floor pedals! Have a look at: http://steelguitarforum.com/Forum5/HTML/004577.html
I'm sure that the Jeff Newman approach looks the most attractive, but I always like to mention that Zane had it figured out way before the "Standard" setup arose.

Good luck

Graham
