Peavey 1203-4 speaker ?????

Can the Peavey 1203-4 speaker be used for bass? It can handle the low .070 string on a U-12 at stage volume with no problem. I have this speaker in a small cab and have a bass gig so I was going to try it with the MB200 head. Small venue also.

Len, That is a 300W speaker. Should be fine.

The 1203-4 speaker was used in the old Peavey Nashville 112 speaker cabinets. Jeff Newman used two of these (stereo) with a Universal U12, so you should be OK.

Thanks for the feedback. I have a GK MB 200 power amp that I will use with this speaker so it should have a nice sound. I didn't realize the 1203-4 could handle 300 watts. Cool!
