My New Emmons LeGrande III

I've had a new LeGrande III for about a month, now. I have another one that is about 5 years old. This new guitar has tone and sustain, even with the humbucking pickups, that really blows my old one away. My old guitar sounds pretty doggone good, too. This new guitar has all the cross rods highly polished, and is very well crafted. Obviously, I had to fine tune a few little things, but I've got it playing great. If anyone questioned the new guitars, they need to sit down and play one. This is one great instrument.

Bob,

This thrills me to no end. Many of us are pulling for Ron Jr. So this is good testimony. Having been very close to the late Ron Lashley for over 30 yrs, I know how difficult it must be; to try and walk in the shoes of a master.

May God truly bless Ron Jr; and give him the wisdom to continue this unprecedented legacy.

Bob,
that's affirmative from this side, too!
I have a brand new one here that I am holding for someone. The tone of it absolutely knocks me out. My L-III is around 5 years old as well, but this new one truly blows mine away! I only wish that mine sounded as good, not that it sounds bad. I always felt that mine sounded exceptionally good, but compared to the new one I have sitting here there is no comparison. I don't know what Ronnie has done but these new ones sound more reminiscent of the old "bolt on" guitars. great tone!
