I've been thinking that it might be a good idea for me to buy a cache card for my Profex since I currently don't have a backup plan. What is the most economical way to buy a card and download all of my current settings as a "just in case" precaution?

Thanks in advance for advice. Very Happy

You should be able to save as a midi file onto a laptop. I have not done this, but it's in the manual. I'm sure someone on this forum can tell you how. Those cards have a battery so they die after a few years and the battery must be replaced which looses all info. Do you have the manual?

So I quickly read the manual and I have decided that I do not have the technical back ground to dump my presets to a computer. Anyone want to give me a little help?

What is required of my laptop like software and connectivity? Also I sure the correct cable is important.

All help is appreciated with moving my presets to a thumb drive. Very Happy

Chuck
