Hi Mickey;
Please let Dicky know that he has a LOT of fans out here -
we are praying for his health to improve
soon & for him to get back to playing out.
Also - ask a lot of questions about his career playing steel if you can.
Give him my best.
Thanks for doing this.
Ron
"Tone is in the hands. Unless your wife will let you buy a new amp. Then it's definitely in that amp."

We need to turn the TWANG up a little

It's not what you play through, it's what you play through it.

They say that tone is all in the fingers...I say it is all in your head :)

Thanks for the update, Mickey! And thanks also for your faith in believing in the power of prayer!
DeeJee, my prayer is that God will richly bless you and Dickey and allow his health to improve so that he can get back to doing what he loves. May the Lord see you through these health trials and grant healing and comfort to you both during this time of struggle! We all respect and admire Mr. Dickey and would like to see him back in action in the future. What a tremendous steel guitar player and from everyone's comments, apparently a true gentlemen! I pray now and will continue to pray for a turnaround in things for you both. God bless. Roger

I'll keep him in my thoughts and prayers. LOVE his style of playing. Met him in Tulsa back in the late 90's at the Oklahoma steel show. He is as friendly and genuine person I ever met. Visited with me for sometime and had never met me before. Get well, so we can hear that steel again.
