Emmons P/P serial numbers ?

Would someone please help me find the old thread that listed the years of manufacture by the serial number on the Emmons push pull guitars. Thanks, Tommy......

Norman: Thanks. I wonder how to date an
S-10 if the number is 1190? I'm thinking it's a 1971 or possibly 72.. Also it's an S-10 with 6 pedals and no knees.. I've seen another one like that, but I bet they're kind of rare. Thanks, Tommy.....

They made a lot of 6/0. It was standard in the early years. And it looks like yours was 67.

EDIT: I forgot that they number doublenecks differently from singlenecks. Which I think is silly.

Lane: How did you decide on 1967? I have an S-10 number 1129 and thought it was a 1971. I don't remember what made me think that. Thanks, Tommy......

Tommy, notice I edited my comment. I forgot that Emmons used different numbers for singlenecks.

Tommy, the serial number should have the letter "S" at the end. If it's 1190 S, that would be late 1971, according to other S-10 p/p numbers I have seen listed on this forum. If there is no S at the end, it could be an invoice number (pre-serial numbers), but I doubt that it is.

I have 1157 S which, according to the previous owner, was verified by the Emmons Co as being made in 1971.

Those posted numbers are for D-10's only. There is another list for the single necks, which I don't have.

I have an S10 #1205 S. I was told it was a '73 +/-? It doesn't matter what year it to me, it's decent and it's a P/P.
