George L's 10-1 and E-66 combined?
I like the sound of the 10-1's on both of my Sierra guitars but would like the thinner sound of the E-66 on occasion. If George L's made the 10-1 with coil tap or coil split wiring similar to 6-string P/U's so a switch could be used for tap, split, series or parallel configuration,I'd buy one in a second!Anybody else with me on this?I haven't seen the bottom of my P/U's but I suspect they're potted to prevent me from getting inside 'em.

That's what Ernest is trying to tell you. George L makes a 10-5 pick up. I had one in my MSA D-10 XL. It comes with a 5 position rotary switch and gives you five different pick up configurations from the one pickup. If I recall you got 1-a normal humbucker, 2-the forward single coil, 3- the rear single coil, 4-out-of-phase parallel, and 5- in series single coils. As far as I know, they are still available from anyone that sells George L products.
