I hear it mentioned a lot but what exactly is a 'wet reverb' as compared to typical in amp or stomp box reverb. Hope this is not a stupid question, just would like to know. Thanks.

It's a brand of digital reverb. One of the better ones.

I have the mono model and would not want to do without it. To my ears, it is the most natural sounding reverb I have ever heard. It is a stomp box that is easy to use. Only two controls. I set the depth at 2 o'clock and the mix at 12 o'clock. Not cheap at $179.00, but worth every penny. You buy them direct from the mfg. in CA. Google Neunaber Technology for complete information. Fast delivery and if I remember correctly, USPS Priority Mail shipping is included in the price.

I know this is going to sound like some ad, so I apologize ahead of time for that.

Being an old guy now, I've been playing for more than a few decades. During that time, I really do think I've owned or played through most reverbs, whether they're stand-alone units or a part of a combo amp. Some were great, some were just a shrug of the shoulders and a few were amazingly cheesy. Nevertheless, other than some multi-$thousand$ studio units, I never found one I thought was in the category of "tough to get much better than this".

Anyway, I had heard good things about the Wet Reverb pedal and one day, running across a used mono-version, I got it.

Long story short, after a minute of playing through it I was convinced. A simply outstanding pure reverb without a gazillion knobs. Along with the new EH B9 organ pedal, it's a permanent part of my setup.

The mono version that I bought recently and the one in the photo do not match. I don't know which is an earlier or later version, but my unit is black with white lettering and does not have the tone control. This is one piece of gear that you should seriously consider. IMHO, you will hear the difference the minute you plug it in and will not go back to any of your other reverbs.

The echelon delay is also first rate. Your wet can be reprogrammed to be any of their pedals.

Brian at Neunaber Technologies is the President of the Comapany....just a great guy and best service you could imagine...this is a great pedal....simple to use, 3 knobs giving the best reverb I've heard from a small pedal like this.....comparable to Lexicon in my opinion..use it live and in the studio and producers love the sound...love the pedal.....send Brian an email and mention my name, you will be impressed with his company... http://neunaber.net/products/wet-mono-reverb-v4
