Only 19 Multiharps made?
Check out this one on ebay. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=931172938
The seller says only 19 made. That is not correct is it? Let's here from some of you Gibson experts.

I bought a new triple neck just like the one pictured in 1958 or 1959. I find it hard to believe there were that few made. There was one in Tucson for sale about 6 months ago. I would really like to know the exact number of these produced. And I would like to find my old one. I sold it in Illinois about 1963 when I got my ShoBud. If that old Gibson is still around, you will know it because my name is painted on the front!!

Billy!!
De-No took one of those things in on trade back in like 1993 when I worked there. it was in pretty good shape too!! I bet it is still hanging around in the back room . you might ask Noel to see if he can find it . mabey it has a SR # on it that would be a start to find out how many were made. my dad also had one back in the 70's so that is 3 of the 19 accounted for plus the one this guy has so I dought its 19 1900 mabey !!huh? let me know if noel and De-no still have it ok.
BOO

Hey Boo...
Good to hear from you. I will certainly ask
Noel about that. I bet there were more than
19 of those made. I don't have a clue what the serial number was on mine, but I can't believe that Gibson only made 19. Take care, and keep in touch. When you comin' to CG?

Hi Billy
Yep, the finish IS blonde ... and she IS original.. Great sound for the early 50's type of western stuff... and of course the "Don Helms" Driftin' Cowboys Sound. (I know he didn't use pedals , But the guitar HAS that sound)
I'd love to know just how many there REALLY are still being played.... Like mine is.
