I plugged in my blue sky unit to a 9v adapter, but before I realized it was the wrong size plug (too small) smoke came out of the plug. It will light up now but there is no effect.
Should I send it back for repair, or let a local tech look at it. |

In many cases there no schematics available to local techs. Thus, unless there is a an authorized factory repair center, its best to send it back to the factory for repair.
I used to do amp repair and people would bring me stuff that I didn't have schematics for, or access to schematics, and I had to turn them away. I couldn't afford to spend days on something without a schematic and still not fix it. |

Contact the folks at Strymon, seem like very knowledgeable and friendly people. (Do not believe I would trust any unit that complex and pricey to anyone else). |
