Is it me or are there others that are not pleased with the reverb in the FSK. I just can't seem to dial in a sound that I am happy with. Also, has anyone ever replaced the FSK tank with another?

Thanks.

I played through a FSK for a little over a year and never really cared for the reverb but it was what it was and I made it work.

For the last year or so I've been playing through a Nashville 1000 and I don't like the reverb in it either so I purchased a TC Electronics Hall of Fame reverb and really like it. The whole band can jump up and down on the stage til it caves in and you don't get any noises. It's very adjustable with no artifacts.

The reverb stopped working on my steel king. Never used it so really wasn't a big deal for me.

I love my Steel King but the reverb sucks really bad. I use the Hall Of Fame reverb pedal with it and really like the hall/cathedral (Church) reverb versus any type of spring reverb. Much more lush and modern sounding. It also has a modulated reverb that fattens up 6 string guitar parts. Prior to that I had good luck with the RV-5's but I had two of them die within 5 years so I decided not to pursue another one.

There's a LONG LONG list of very good reverb pedals that sound spectacular and will outperform the stock FSK reverb.

I'll second, third and fourth the complaints about the Steel King's reverb. If there were no pedal options, then I would have tried different tanks to see if I could find something that was usable but with good verb stomp boxes available I never bothered.
