Hi Doug
Just a question. What function is the Left / Right balance pot performing. Does it control the signal level output to different mismatched powered speakers or does it affect the effects loop?
I already own 2 Revelation and they are terrific preamps. I would highly recommend them to anybody.
Thanks

The balance knob only affects the volume/gain sent to the powered speakers. This is similar to that of a Hi-Fi receiver/amp speaker balance knob. This allows the user to send more gain/volume to one side or another. I had this mod done so I could do the balance adjustment in the rack next to my steel instead of going to the amps behind me.
Thanks Doug for answering my question. It sounds like that would be handy to have if you are running two powered speakers.
I normally only run one 15 inch Furlong split with my Revelation but I occasionally take a 12" split out to add to it for large halls.
I could see that being real useful when running dual powered speakers.
Good luck with you sale.
